Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients and partners, and driving revenue growth for the company.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategy to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth
- Identify and target potential clients and partners through research and networking
- Build strong relationships with existing and new clients to ensure ongoing business and referrals
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company’s services and capabilities, as well as the competitive landscape
- Collaborate with the larger PR team to develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
- Manage the end-to-end pitch process, from initial outreach to contract negotiation and closing
- Track and report on client identification pipeline and other outreach towards revenue targets
- Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships and stay up-to-date on trends and best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field
- Proven track record of success in a business development or sales role, preferably in a PR agency or related industry
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Excellent relationship building and networking abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of the PR industry and current trends and best practices.
