Role Description:
This is a full-time hybrid Content Specialist role for Star Squared PR. The role will be located in Bengaluru, with flexibility for some remote work. The Content Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing content strategies, content creating, and managing content for social media channels.
Responsibilities:
- The candidate would have to research relevant topics, draft content for clients, be updated on trending topics in the news cycle and must also have some level of subject matter knowledge regarding current events and analysis.
- The candidate must be someone who reads quite a bit (at least articles and information on websites) and is also proactive in learning about different industries.
- They must have a strong command of the English language, and the capacity to write sentences without grammatical errors.
- The candidate must be capable of developing content under tight deadlines and producing both long and short-form pieces according to client requirements.
- Collaboration with the team and the ability to ideate new angles to meet targets are also crucial.
- Should be able to write content on topics across verticals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, journalism, or a similar discipline. A master’s degree will be preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in content writing, or a similar field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in teamwork and cross-functional collaboration. Capable of managing several projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- A creative thinker with a strategic mindset.
